Instructor Membership

How can I view my current certified students and teaching hours?

  1. Log in to your IKO account.
  2. On the left-hand menu, scroll to the bottom and click “My Profile”.
  3. In your profile page, look for the Experience section.
  4. Here, you will see:
    • Teaching Hours
    • Number of Students
    • Training Hours

This section gives you a quick overview of your teaching activity and student certifications.

Can I renew my membership by bank transfer?

We currently do not accept payment by bank transfer. Please contact support if this is the only payment method you can use.

Can I renew my membership without logging into my profile?

You can renew your assistant or instructor membership with the Plus membership by following the previous link. Feel free to contact us if you need help logging into your profile to certify your students once your membership is active.

Will I receive a plastic card with my credentials on, or will it be 100% digital?

Your IKO membership is proof of your enrolment in the insurance plan. You will not receive a separate insurance card or digital certificate.

How can I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription, go to the billing page in your profile. 

What happens if I want to renew after 2 years of being expired?

If you leave your membership expired for more than 2 years, you will have to attend an Instructor Reinstatement Course (IRC) to be reactivated.

You can pay with a credit card or PayPal.

When does my membership expire?

All memberships are subscription-based and remain active until you choose to cancel them through your IKO profile.

If you cancel your subscription, your benefits will continue until the end of your current billing period, after which they will be deactivated.

What happens if I renew after 12 months of being expired?

If you leave your membership expired for more than 12 months, you will have to pass an online exam corresponding to your certification level with a score higher than 80% to be able to renew.
