Can I create several accounts in the IKO database to get more benefits?
No. As an official IKO member, you should only have one IKO account (unless you are also registering an IKO Center for affiliation).
Why did I not receive a physical member card?
The kiter member cards have been discontinued in favor of the public profile, which enables more control over quality and ensures that all Instructors now certify their students online. Also, it prevents the risk of losing the card and makes it more eco-friendly!
Why haven’t I received the email to activate my account?
First, check your junk folder to see if the email was marked as spam. If it’s not there, ensure that you are using the same email you provided to your Instructor for certification, as your certification is linked to that email. If not, your Instructor may not have certified you yet. Request your Certification
I already have an IKO account, do I need to create a new one?
No! If you already have an account, make sure to give your Instructor the same email address that you used to create your IKO account. Your certification is always tied to your email address, make sure you always use the same.
Can IKO Instructors certify students from non IKO Instructors?
IKO Instructors can only certify students from non-IKO Instructors after evaluating their kiteboarding level.
