How can I train my school team to become IKO qualified Instructors?
IKO Centers commit to operate exclusively with IKO Certified and valid Instructors and Assistants. The Plus membership allows you to organize pro courses straight at your school, which means that you get the opportunity to train your team if they are not already IKO Instructors. By hosting training courses, you can earn up to $3720 USD in 10 days.
What happens if my membership expires?
From the day that your membership expires, you are no longer recognized as an IKO Instructor which means that you lose your license to teach and all the benefits associated with being a member of IKO including insurance coverage..
What happens if I fail my Pro Course?
If you failed the Pro course (ATC or ITC), it means that you did not meet the requirements to pass the course and that you are not ready to follow an internship yet. This decision is final and up to the Assistant Trainer's or Examiner's judgement with confirmation of the Training Department for special cases. Note that none of the fees are refundable.
How can I edit the price of my Training Event?
You can edit the price of your training event at any time as long as the event is not Accepted by the examiner or Assistant Trainer.
To edit the price:
- Login with your school account
- Go to Bookings
- Click on the Edit to edit the details
How can I complete internship hours?
Candidates with internship have the option to continue their training alongside an Instructor Level 2 or higher until they reach a satisfactory level. Look for the Internship Guide in the files section of your profile.
How can I add an instructor to my school's team member list?
Can an IKO Instructor work in a non Affiliated Center?
Yes, as long as he adheres to the IKO Standards and is covered by a valid professional Insurance.
What can I do if the Candidates cannot afford the ITC training fee?
The ITC organizer has the authority to make a payment agreement. The only set fee is the IKO fee. The Organizer determines the final price based on his expenses.
Who should I contact to enroll in a Pro-training Course (ATC /ITC)?
Go to the Training Calendar and book your course online. You can also contact the ATC/ITC Organizer directly to sign up for a course. Contact details can be found on the Training Calendar. Candidates provide all required documents, like the CPR and Candidate waiver, to the Organizer, not the IKO.
