The assessment is there simply to improve your knowledge. You can take the assessment several times. If you don't pass the assessment online, you can take it again during the live course.

The Online Course is there to prepare you for the live course. If you need clarification or have questions, write them down. Anything that was not clear to you will be clarified by your Trainer during the live course.

You begin the course by enrolling in the Assistant Online Course which you can complete from the comfort of your home.

There aren’t any prerequisites for the Assistant Online Course. Anyone can do it. But to attend Module 2 In-Person Training, you must be at least 16 years old and have a riding level equivalent to IKO Kiteboarder Level 4 - Advanced.

No, your IRC fee will be deducted from your ITC fee. The salary paid to the Trainer will not be refunded.

No, if you fail the IRC, and you still want to be revalidated, you will have to pass an ITC.

The Expired Instructor Reassessment enables an IKO Instructor whose membership has been expired for more than two years to be recertified, without having to attend an ITC.

There are a couple of reasons for this: your IKO Membership may have expired, or some information, such as your profile picture, might be missing from your account. If your membership has expired, you can renew it by logging into your account and selecting 'Renew / Upgrade.'
 

Yes. Student feedback comprises two parts: a rating and a review.

• The rating is always considered in the instructor’s public profile and affects their ranking in the member list.
• The review is visible on the instructor’s profile once approved by the IKO Office, unless the student has chosen to make their review private. In that case, the review is used for quality purposes only.
