When was kitesurfing invented?

It is hard to pinpoint the exact date of when kiteboarding was invented. What we do know is that, two brothers, Bruno Legaignoux and Dominique Legaignoux, from the Atlantic coast of France, began developing kites in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In November 1984 the brothers filed a patent on an inflatable kite design, this design has since been used by companies internationally to develop their own products.

How to send student feedback?

A student feedback request is automatically sent each time you certify a student.When you certify a student, the system logs your teaching hours and the student’s number.At the time a student sends his feedback, you will receive this in your profile rating and reviews. This will have an influence on your vote.It may take 1-2 days before you receive the student feedback in your profile because IKO reviews and approves student feedback before posting to your profile. Yes. Thanks to IKO's international recognition, the IKO Instructor diploma gives you the opportunity to easily find a job anywhere in the world. The classified ads section is available for all IKO Members in the "Jobs" section on your personal account. Instructors can also post Job Search ads. These ads are viewable by potential employers.With IKO Centers in over 60 countries worldwide, you already have the opportunity to work all over the world.

When and how should ITC Candidates fees be paid to the IKO?

The candidates can pay their IKO fee directly to the IKO through the online booking system. The center fee can be paid directly to the center.Otherwise, organizers will receive an invoice for training fees that are usually sent out after the candidates of the training have been certified. Fees are to be paid to the IKO within 30 days after receiving the invoice. If the invoice is not paid before the due date, the school risks suspension.
