When was kitesurfing invented?

It is hard to pinpoint the exact date of when kiteboarding was invented. What we do know is that, two brothers, Bruno Legaignoux and Dominique Legaignoux, from the Atlantic coast of France, began developing kites in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In November 1984 the brothers filed a patent on an inflatable kite design, this design has since been used by companies internationally to develop their own products.

This will have an influence on your vote.It may take 1-2 days before you receive the student feedback in your profile because IKO reviews and approves student feedback before posting to your profile.
