We have more than 20 years of research, feedback and testing which we’ve used to create kiteboarding courses and certifications that help you progress.
The IKO has five Kiteboarder Certification levels: Discovery (Level 1), Intermediate (Level 2), Independent (Level 3), Advanced (Level 4) and Evolution (Level 5).
The Evolution (Level 5) Certification has four disciplines: Freeride, Freestyle, Hydrofoil and Wave Riding.
Each level and discipline has a corresponding handbook and in-person course that contains the world-class methodology developed by our elite trainers.
Your score at the end of this exam will help determine which eLearning materials and courses are right for you.

If your score does not correspond to your actual level, you can take the Kiteboarder Course that meets your needs.
